Damon Schwartz
Damon Schwartz, J.D., M.B.A., is a California and New York attorney with more than a decade of experience as a litigator protecting the rights of the elderly and their families in California and as a Senior Judicial Law Clerk in Federal Court in New York.
Mr. Schwartz spent years representing seniors and dependent adults, both at a prominent Elder Law trial firm in Orange County and at a national firm protecting the rights of senior workers and their spouses. As a litigator handling wrongful death and serious injury cases, he saw firsthand the terrible problems created for families when medical and financial documents were not in place before a catastrophic injury or death occurred.
All too often, families had not prepared in advance for a death or disability and had to play catch up at the worst possible time. Instead of being able to spend time trying to comfort or grieve for their loved ones, they were forced to waste precious moments and money in court to be permitted to handle the affairs of their family member that died or had become disabled or begin the time consuming and expensive process of probate.
As a result, Mr. Schwartz now focuses on Wills, Trusts, Elder Law and Immigration, to help families avoid the pitfalls of not planning ahead. It is his goal to help families eliminate problems and provide peace of mind. Whether you need a will, trust, power of attorney, or medical directive, he will develop a customized legal solution for you to provide the financial security and asset protection you want.
Damon Schwartz received his Juris Doctor Degree with honors from Pace Law School in New York. He earned his Master’s Degree from the California State University at Fullerton and his Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA.
